To access certain features of AcSolarate, you must register an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

The platform supports two primary user roles: Standard Users (who can create and manage their own solar design projects) and Designers (who may offer professional design consultation services through the platform). Admin users have additional management capabilities.

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to register. By creating an account, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

AcSolarate is a web-based platform that provides tools for solar energy system design, including location analysis, system sizing, LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) calculations, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) generation, and Request for Quotation (RFQ) management.

The platform offers two design paths: Fast Track (AI-optimized with recommended parameters) and Detailed Design (full manual control over all engineering parameters). Results generated by the platform are estimates based on the inputs provided and should be verified by a licensed engineer before implementation.

Features such as professional designer consultation, verified installation tracking, monthly performance reporting, and compiled project documentation may be available to paid subscribers.

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes related to solar energy system design and project management. You shall not misuse the calculation engine, attempt to reverse-engineer proprietary algorithms, or use the platform to generate fraudulent quotations or misleading project documentation.

Users must not submit false installation data, duplicate equipment serial numbers, or fabricate performance reports. The platform verifies equipment serial numbers to prevent fraud and maintain the integrity of designer ratings.

Harassment, spam, or abusive behavior toward other users (designers, installers, or clients) via the consultation or RFQ features is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

Your project data, including location information, design parameters, financial inputs, and uploaded files, is private and accessible only to you and users you explicitly share with. The platform employs Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure that each user's data remains siloed and protected.

When you share a project with another user, they gain read access to the shared project data only. You may revoke access at any time.

The platform does not sell your personal information or project data to third parties. Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics may be used to improve the service.

Uploaded files (photos, reports, documents) are stored securely and are accessible only to the account that uploaded them, unless explicitly shared.

Certain premium features, including compiled project PDF documentation, in-app project sharing, and professional designer consultations, may require a paid subscription.

When you engage a professional designer through the platform, the designer's service fee and an applicable platform fee will be clearly disclosed before payment. The platform fee is calculated as the maximum of 2% of the total project value or 20% of the designer's service fee.

Transactions for design services are processed through the platform. Refund policies for designer services are determined on a case-by-case basis and may be requested through support.

Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and can be cancelled at any time. Access to premium features will continue until the end of the current billing period.

The AcSolarate platform, including its calculation engine, user interface, and documentation, is the intellectual property of the platform operator. You retain ownership of all project data you create, including designs, BOQs, and uploaded files.

When you generate a compiled project PDF with your company name and logo, you may use and distribute that document freely. The platform's branding on such documents is limited to a small footer attribution.

Designers who submit verified installations and monthly reports retain ownership of their data. The platform may display aggregate, anonymized performance metrics for quality assurance purposes.

Solar energy system designs generated by this platform are engineering estimates based on the parameters and assumptions you provide. They are NOT a substitute for a licensed professional engineer's review and local building code compliance verification.

The platform is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data such as solar irradiation figures, local equipment prices, or incentive program information. Users should verify all location-specific data independently.

The platform shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of generated designs, including but not limited to system underperformance, equipment damage, or financial losses.

Installer quotations received through the RFQ feature are provided by third parties. The platform does not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or pricing of any installer's work.

You may close your account at any time. Upon closure, your project data will be retained for 30 days in case of accidental deletion, after which it will be permanently removed.

The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the designer rating system through fake reviews or duplicate serial registrations.

Designers with verified installations who close their accounts may export their performance reports before termination.

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
